T5.1 folding front row seat - use of 3rd row seat folding mechanism

Hi everyone,

I am wondering if it would be possible to convert my 2015 T5.1 front row passenger double seat to folding with use of a T.5 3rd row seat folding mechanism? If not does anyone know the best place to get a mechnism? I called volkswagen locally and they didnt know a part number to be able to quote.

Don't know whether that will work, but you can get the mechanism on eBay (second hand of course). There is also someone who makes a hinge mechanism that also reclines the standard seat angle backwards a couple more degrees for comfort. (see below link)

Thanks for the link, i think knowing there is a minor recline on the aftermarket hinge i will just go for that instead, better on long journeys.
