T32 with 16 inch steels?

I've seen a couple of posts about T32's having 17" wheels but my Shuttle came with 16" steels would this be right or have I got the wrong wheels on?

I wouldn't think 16" would fit as when I had my original 17" denvonport Alloys on the break calliper was nearly touching the wheel.

When I went to order the bus I was sure the T32 came with nicer 17" steels...however I ended up buying a new one the had in stock with 5 miles on the clock which also ment I could have it in a month rather than 9 to 12 which is what I was looking at. So not paying much attention to the wheels I didn't think nothing of it until I started reading about the T32 coming with 17s. Now got me wonder if the noise I've got coming from the front at slow speeds and in reverse that has been diagnosed by the noise as a faulty driveshaft...could be something catching or would this likely be a constant noise????

@MrTesco. Surely it depends on the weight/axle load rating of your vehicle. Is it a T30 or T32? I recall that recently it has come up that Caravelles can be constructed as either.

Mines a T32 Shuttle
@MrTesco could you please post up a photo of your under-bonnet load/axle plate or the figures. @T6AL has a gross weight listed on his V5 of 3080kg which would appear to conform to T30 equivalent van or Kombi. However, only a dealer can tell you from looking up the build sheet what elements have been used for suspension etc. as the Shuttle is a separate line and not a load carrying vehicle. Caravelle wheels from the brochure are 16" for the 150ps SWB and 17" for the 150ps LWB and 204ps LWB.

It seems like a careful check is required of spec and build sheets to see just what wheels should be fitted as standard to the Shuttle as only 16" are listed in the brochure for the 84ps SWB with 17" for all others, alloys are an option in the current March 2017 brochure.

Sorry if this is garbled but it's way late.

T32 only come with larger brakes if its the larger engine also (180/204) although they do all come with 17" wheels usually devonports

The passenger carriers dont conform to the T28/T30/T32 setup that vans and kombis do.
Yours is in between and think this is why the wheels are different
T32 has axle weights of 1710 / 1720

I had a look last night at the shuttle brochure for 2017, whilst chatting to the folks, it lists 16inch steels for the 84ps swb only, everything else is 17inch, page 22,23 iirc.
Not sure what the previous brochure lists..

@MrTesco and @T6AL it looks as though others have provided the answer. It is now down to what was in the previous and current brochures but it would appear that you might have a previous spec to the March 2017 brochure which specifies 17" steels for your model. A trip back to the supplying dealer to clarify I think.
