Swivel seats and handbrake

Guys can someone help me please

I’ve lowered the handbrake to accomodate a swivel seat but now I’m baffled on what to do with the handbrake cable? Am I being thick?

Obvious now I don’t have a handbrake

Can anyone shed some light guys

Make a spacer to take up the slack

There’s some adjustment on the front of the cable at the hand brake side but not enough to take up the slack.
You need to get under the van find the other end of the cable and tighten it there.
Between tightening the two ends of the cable you will get it tight enough to work properly.

I never touched the underneath on ours .

I never touched the underneath on ours .

I got mine just about tight enough with the adjustment at the front but
Ultimately it needed tightened at the other end so I was happy with it.

Or just buy a RIB swivel base with the spacer bars, just fitted one to my T6 drivers seat and it just clears the handbrake as it is
