Evening All.

The more I look at my van, the more I want different wheels. So, I'm looking to see if anyone fancies a swap for mine?

MUST BE SILVER!

I bought mine brand new back in May 2024 from leighton vans, as a wheel and tyre package.

They're 20" LV-2 in gloss black

8.5J fronts with 245/45/20 103xl
10J rears with 275/40/20 106xl

All tyres are uniroyal rainsport 5. Tyres are almost new, as I've only covered 2500 mile since owning these.

Come with spigot rings etc, perfect fitment for a Transporter 5 x 120 pcd (centre bore 65.1)

Front Left centre caps has some paint flake, these are £9.95 from leighton. All others still have wrappers on.

I have original invoice, I believe this was close to £1,600.

Dust caps not included - mrs already wants me to sleep in the shed for wanting to change them.

is it just the colour you don't like? and if so is a refurb in silver a consideration?

I've been looking at a different style. Looked at rotiform krp wheels like this

large.webp

But they're £1,200 without tyres.

I've also just been hit with an £1,810 bill for cambelt, waterpump, flywheel, clutch and wheel bearing.

Mrs wants a holiday badly, hence why she doesn't want me spending money on new wheels

Take her away in the van and tell her to be thankful you're allowing her to stay in the most expensive hotel room she ever will.

I think we may be married to the same woman! 🤔🤫
She just doesn't understand my need for new wheels. I've mentioned that I'm stupid for spending so much on a van I need them because the van wont drive right on my current £1,700 wheels. She also doesnt understand that I've wanted a transporter for the last 10 years, and have only known her 2 years.

I think a trip to Mexico will sweeten the mood a little, then I can get new wheels past her in the autumn

Nice wheels, but not load rated if that bothers you.
