Standard wheel bolt size panic

Folks can somebody help me out. I need the size of the standard VW wheel bolts.

I recently had some Navis 17inch wheels fitted. The T6.1 van was previously shod with 18inch sport lines and somehow the original bolts went missing.

So recently it dawned on me that the bolts in my current Navis wheels don’t fit the standard brace. And then I realised these bolts also won’t be suitable for my spare which I believe is a 16inch steely.

Hence why I’m hurriedly trying to sort it all out with your help.

I just did a google. ‘VW T6 wheel bolt size’ and this (amongst loads of others) popped up. Quite easy really .

TBF you raise a good point. I’ve got 17” Navis and original spare and never thought about the wheel nuts so I’ll have to put a set in the van just in case . Good call.

It’s reciprocated as your post made me think about my wheels too and realised I’d dropped a changer by not having a spare set.

I’ve actually got to (at some point) get round to changing my spare for a 17 inch steely. Loads of posts on here about that.

I actually carry a spare set of bolts for my spare wheel. The winter wheels have tapered seats and 17mm Head Bolts, originals are radiused seats and 19mm heads ( as you may be aware). Think I got them off of Ebay.

Thanks for this, yes I think the Navis wheel bolts have 17mm heads tapered. And the VW OEM are 19mm radius as you mention. I need to get a new brace with a 17mm socket too.

If it helps, I needed a set of genuine VW wheel bolts and Paul, Radford1071s on here sorted me out with a complete set, quickly too.
