Lurking in our back garden worrying weeds and noticed a really droning/howling C130 Hercules.
Didn't get a picture sadly but this thing almost looked like it had two smaller engines on pylons hanging between the normal four turbo prop ones.
Looked online and it's one of those "Ghost Rider" Hercules gunships, the one with the 4" Howitzers which probably explains why it was so loud and with what I guess are extra fuel tanks.
We did have a couple of Ospreys fly by at low level last week but there's a few of those stationed over in Suffolk so fairly regular over the year.
Off topic but really fancy a 4" Howitzer on the Astra bonnet next time some bastid merges across the front of us poor old coffin dodgers.
