I currently selling some of my bike collection to consolidate. I'm quite brand loyal and stick to Focus bikes because both my Road bike, and my current Hardtail MTB are bulletproof and very comfortable.
With that in mind I don't know a huge amount about this Specialized full suspension bike, and reluctantly took it in PX against another Focus I sold a while back. I say reluctantly, because full suspension is not really for my riding style. I'm an 80% road guy, and 20% canal tow path, occasional Sherwood Pines MTB rider. The full suspension is beyond my needs, and frankly I don't like them much.
So rather than it just sitting on the wall of my garage, taking up valuable space that another Focus needs to be using, it's time to let it go.
The bike owes me at £500, so i'd be happy taking this to someone off here. I'm not sure of it's age, or size for that matter, because it doesn't say like the German bikes do. So if anyones interested, I can give exact dimensions. I will add that the previous owner was around 6ft, and he's had it as it is since new. I'm 5'10ish and it feels ok to me, but i'm used to 29er Hardtails, so it's always going to feel odd to me.
The bike is pretty much mint, other than a few of the normal scars a MTB will get within minutes of using them properly. The tyres are all perfect, and already come full of Slime to prevent punchers. I haven't ridden the bike any more than a few miles, but there's not actually anything wrong with it, and it's ready to just start using.
PM me for any further technical details or if you want any other pictures.

I could well be interested in taking that off your hands, what size are the wheels/what gearing is it running (looks like 3 x something)
Any idea of year so i can look it up ?
How tall are you so i can get an idea of frame size ?

Oh and i'm 5.10 and the previous owner was 6ft.
As said above, it's hard to say if it's for my size because it's not a style of MTB I'm used to, but I can ride it without any issues.
As for year, I forgot to ask the owner because it was a pure impulse PX.

Wheels 26"

@Pauly let me know how this goes we maybe able to sort a joint delivery next Saturday??.

Nice bike, bargain too I reckon.

With all this interest so quickly, maybe I'm underestimating it's worth...

Nah, just kidding. I just want what it owes me on here.
EBay or Gumtree is a different matter though. I owe no one anything on those outlets.

That's for the reply tourer I will give you a message later when I'm back and sort funds and arrange collection
I'm meeting @Fish next weekend to sort some bits so hopefully tie into that

This week Nottingham and York.

Contemplating letting the Focus Hardtail go, but not sure yet because I love that bike and it's only really worth about the same as the Specialized, plus it's a 2016 model.

Never let a bike go if you love it, unfortunately second hand prices for bikes is pants so for what you get for it you'll only regret it as I have in the past.

Hence why i'm only thinking about it.
I do have a tendency to just keep hold of the things that I deem worthy, but then they end up taking space up in my garage, and never get used. I agree second hand prices are always poor (unless it's me buying it, then they seem high) but for me it's not really about the money. I'm more interested in making space for the next thing.
Hmmmm, maybe thats why I seem to spend more than I earn..
