I spend a lot of time in Italy and Slovakia and am on various transporter related pages plus I look out for things for sale.

Sometimes we think we have it bad, well this is not the case in many ways.

So many modifications are not available in Europe and if they were are not allowed due to their MOT rules, for example in Italy you can only officially add wheel and tyre combos that are on the "booklet".

This ad did however get me....

Maybe not such a bad idea when you seen posts with people wearing holes in wheel arch liners and scrubbed out tyres.
With the prices you mention I’m surprised people aren’t loading up a van and taking parts out of the UK.

well I did consider it however I had too much of my own things to bring back on this trip...... having said that just because they list things at crazy prices doesn't mean that they will sell. that space behind front seats also got filled......

ha ha same as doing it the first time......,its quite logical Plus I have photos to refernce as well. Never been stopped on any of my numerous trips leaving the UK, the French Border Force really don't seem to care

They are doing it, just not legally!

They strip em in the shipping containers. Keep safe out there folks.
