Hi all,

Please bear with me, this is my first FS post on here so hopefully I'm following the right format !

We bought this awning last year planning to use it this summer but weve found that because of work and dog commitments we aren't getting away long enough to make this worth having.

It's totally unused , still unopened in the carry bag and looking for a new home , I'm looking for £300 (dropped from £375) and collection from Dorchester or I can drive out a bit to make life easier . I've also got family in Kent so hit the south side of the M25 at least once a month so can meet at services en route.

Happy to send photos but as its unused , unopened in the bag , I dont really want to unpack it and risk not being able to put it back in neatly !

Thanks, Con

Might be worth adding a link to the model you have, Con. I've just looked online and there were several wiith very similar names.

I'm in the market for a new awning, so I have a few questions is for you, Con - hopefully you can answer these despite having never taken it out of the packaging :)...

Does it have a sewn-in groundsheet?
Presumably each of the 4 air-poles inflate/deflate individually? (my current awning has a single valve, so it's easy to inflate, but a PITA to fully deflate!!)
Does it come with a hand pump (or do you know if a Vango AirBeam pump would be compatible)?
Does it come with pegs?

Oh blimey Bav , this sound stupid but I don’t honestly know . I’ve never had a tent before let alone a drive away awning but I’ll do some googling and find out . I was sent a set up video when I bought it on YouTube which I’m hoping will answer your questions though - bear with I’ll find it and post it in the thread

No rush, mate.

Result ! While googling to try and find the video , I found an online seller with the full specs online . I can confidently answer ‘yes’ to all of your questions (see below) :-)

All good @Bav , I’m getting similar grief for selling it at a big ol’ loss but it’s been sitting in its bag in our dining room for about 9 months and I’m running out of room for more guitars !

Hi @ContheDon. Having discussed with Mrs Bav, we've concluded that this isn't the awning for us. It's a great bargain for a quality awning but, fundamentally, it's too big for our needs - not a deal-breaker when in use, but the packed-down size just won't fit in the boot of the van.

GLWS - I'm sure it won't hang around for long at this price.

Price drop to £300 firm for an unused , mint awning which according to reviews is a decent bit of kit (don’t ask me though as it has never left the carry bag !)
