Hi Folks,
As always with me, a bit of a long one and just after thoughts/ guidance.
I finished my camper conversion this week. So the vans obviously carrying more weight. As such I’m getting a slight notchy feeling on the steering and low speeds, I suspect it’s just because of the weight and the van now sitting differently, but I have a trip to France at the end of the month and paranoia is setting in.
Recently had a new rack/ pump/ drop links/ inner & outer tie rods/ updated arbs and arb bushes and about a year ago the van was lowered 50mm at CRS with new Top mounts. The Wishbones probably need new bushes but nothing came up on the MOT in Dec.
I need to go and see Steve @ CRS to sort the van out. But in the meantime I think my theory of the conversion weight causing the front to sit higher is probably what’s causing the feeling.
Keen to hear from you guys!
