Looking for a pop top for the new to me van, I have done lots of online research and think I have settled on the Skyline Skylow. Unfortunately I am not able to get to any of the big shows this year and getting to Skyline when they are doing a SkyLow could be tricky.
Does anyone in the Central South area (Portsmouth area) have one fitted that I could come and have look at?

I went to Skyline in April to have a look myself, they were very accommodating. I didn’t take enough photos but I took a couple if these help? I’m not trying to change your mind but are you aware of Stealth pop tops? They are very similar and there is a place in Chichester that can install them. That’s what I’m going with.

Yeah I looked at Stealth but I don't like the round hole and the way they cover it, much prefer the square edge and the slid to cover. Thanks for the pictures

Yes , apparently there’s one up north but I thought to myself the north one is two hrs away and the HQ at Bristol is 3.5 hrs but I thought what’s another 1.5 hrs to travel , I thought they would be better have more experience and care more , how wrong was I
. I asked them wasn’t it checked over before the customer collects , they just ignored everything I asked , not a very nice company if anything goes wrong or they are just in the wrong and they never apologise for what they have put me through , it’s still ongoing and still isn’t right , I wish I hadn’t had it done with them , I’m absolutely gutted ,

Not what you would expect
I thought it was going to be a professional install , far from it and cost £5000 the thing is I’m not well and always wanted the van doing it’s been a dream for ages and when I cashed my pension in early due to ill health not a lot of money really 11k I'm thought I’d try and get my van done and was so excited and now I’m so deflated with it at the moment it’s come to a stop , I’m going try and give myself a shake and Carry on with it but need the roof to be right first , anyway hope you have a better experience with your roof than the one I’ve had , take care
 
I was tempted with a skylo this year, but the pics above is making me think twice.

How have they cracked window and seat base?
 
I had my Skylo fitted in October last year and I have to say my experience was the total opposite, they could not have been more helpful and left my van in a clean condition. No damage and a great fit.
 
i had a skylow fitted last year at there north base (xtremevan) and have had a real positive experience. had one small issue that they rectified with no issues at all. all of the work carried out was to a real good standard. I'm very pleased.
