Skyline Mattress

We had the memory foam mattress from skyline, i’ll measure shortly for you. Are you planning on their mattress and a topper or just sourcing yourself?

Thanks buddy. Is the skyline mattress any good? How thick is it? Oh and more importantly, what did u pay for it?? Lol

It’s about 50mm thick, our 7yr old sleeps on it so can’t really comment on its sleep comfort but she is fine on it and the cover says ‘Coolmax’ so probably something you can get from retailers. Not sure on the cost as we got it as part of special they were running last year. A word of caution though, don’t go thicker as the roof only just sits properly when down with it on.

Digging up an old thread here...

What have people used in the standard skyline poptop?

Need to get one ordered asap.

Their memory foam mattress was rubbish.
I went with the Decathlon Inflatable mattress initially (search the forum for this) , perfect fit if a little long (still have it available for use) but changed to a Vango California Mattress a few years ago, Very comfortable, fits easily.

Edit to add ... I think this is the latest incarnation of the one I have

Or it may be this one..

Looking for something that can stay up there, but hopefully memory foam or similar.

Or is a self inflating mattress more comfortable?

If you can get an inflatable mattress that has a deflate port (where you can attach an electric inflator in reverse to suck all the air out from the port rather than having to roll the mattress to expel the air) then the mattress should be so flat it can be left up there until next time (just fold the edges in so it doesn't get trapped in any of the metalwork when the roof is dropped. I think the latest Vango California has this arrangement, but it's a little narrower than the 120cm width that is the perfect fit.

Looking at a 40 or 50mm memory foam mattress, hoping it can just stay in the poptop. Anyone managed this ?
