Sitting water in cavity behind rear wheel arch on drivers side

We started with sound deadening and stage 1 insulation on our van today. There was plenty of rain and we were working with the tailgate open.

We were doing behind the rear panel and I noticed there was a pool of water at the bottom of the cavity behind the wheel arch.

I can't think this would be normal but thought I would double check before I add it to the list of stuff the dealer needs to sort under warranty?

Got this problem on the other side, see photo. This issue is on the drivers side on a single slider.

I would be shocked if it was condensation. It was quite a pool of water. Bearing in mind how much it rained in Manchester yesterday there must be some water ingress from somewhere.

Thanks @newbs52. This could be the cause. Ill mention it to the dealer when it goes in for the other defects

Get a powerful hose spray on the van and see where it’s getting in.

I filled this area with 2 pack resin until it was level with the vent holes, filled them with the van at an angle until it was set so any water was forced to drain when level.
