Side Door Step And Rear Threshold

Hi all

I am currently underway on my long time ambition of owning and converting a transporter, I have put down the flooring as in many forums by fixing 9mm ply battens to the van floor, onto this i have laid a 5mm insulation followed by a 12mm ply flooring.

My question is where could I get an extra high side door step and rear threshold to fit this? I have contacted van x who have told me theirs has a 17mm increase but this would not fit? Other suppliers seem to have a similar height increase.

I think you are in between levels of the Kombi step and the Caravelle step which will be too high. I bought 5mm insulation and rain into this problem. I didnt fit the insulation so a Kombi step would fit.

Thanks for the advice.

I think I will order the set I was looking at, if I can't get it to fit I will remove the insulation, fortunately I haven't fixed down the altro flooring yet
