Should tents be banned or segregated?

First time for us using the camper and currently on a MH&CV Club site. Must admit there is a difference vs a “tent field”. As seasoned campers it is the people that ruin it.

But I firmly believe in segregation, but not what you’re in, but who you are. Just cut the field in half and have 2 signs at the gate.

Do you, follow site rules? Like the peace and quiet? Have respect for other campers? Then turn left.
Do you, come camping to congregate in large groups? Have no idea where your children are? Have a large Bluetooth speaker? Then turn right.

Simple.

The forum gathering is sort of an example where the forum members choose to turn right (as per post above not as in their political leanings, that would be a different type of gathering altogether!), and generally they want and choose to be segregated to ensure they are able to play music, have fire pits and be merry late into the night.

Incidentally, just went to the van to get something and it still stinks of smoke!

IMG_6709.webpI probably shouldn’t kick off this thread again but just seen this near our pitch at this weeks site. Gotta love some rules, not too many mind. Where would we be without rules; France, where would we be with too many rules; Germany 😁

We go to a couple of sites with a load of rules and it makes for a very enjoyable stay if you break the rules people are asked to respect the rules then its a please leave the site if the persist in breaking them

Point of order, France has loads of rules, some un fathomable ones, it’s just that the French choose to ignore them. 🤷‍♂️

"Keep dogs on a short lead" seems to be one that a lot of people struggle with. Im amazed they are able to even book a campsite if they cant read and understand those few words.

Short lead is one thing, personally I don’t care if ‘it’s a rescue’, if it ‘doesn’t normally do that’ or ‘do you mind him here while your eating’.
I just don’t want to walk in the 10% of dog crap that’s left behind after 90% has been picked up.
