We used Sherwood a couple of years ago to convert a bare panel van, they did an excellent job, we’re really pleased. The ability to choose the colour of each aspect of the build was great and they were supportive and helpful throughout the process. Build quality is amazing, no squeaks or rattles, even after 2 years. No hesitation in recommending them.

I was between Sherwood and knights for ours. Saw both at the show and really liked the look of the Sherwood van. The extra bed space they do at the back with the units in the loxley edition is a nice touch. Main reason for picking knights was the owner gave me a lot of confidence in being able to do some of the custom stuff I wanted and I preferred the layout of the base packages. Both “reassuringly expensive” lol. Feedback I’ve seen has all been positive.

I got a price for a pop top and full width sliding rib bed £16.5k. As you say reassuringly expensive!

Sherwood lined our T6 and fitted a Reimo Variotech 3000 full width bed in December 2020.
Workmanship very good. Jez & Debra very helpful. All still good.

Where are (were) they based?

There's a Sherwood Campers, Bolton showing on Companies House with a status of "Liquidation".

Sherwood was Newark based but could be their registered address. That would be a shame as they did good work but I think it’s a lot more competitive now. They were second on my list after knights so maybe chose wisely! Wonder what the magic formula is as knights are expanding from a large premises to even larger so clearly can still make a good business out of it.

Thank you. That is what I had thought Such a shame as they were really good at what they did. I know Jez had said they were struggling the last time we spoke to them but hoped they would be ok. Also a shame for previous customers like us who wanted to get in touch
