Hi everyone.
I recently bought a van that came with a cheap Android head unit, which I didn’t like. So I picked up a second-hand VW head unit (Model T61K8035150L — very basic) for £20 and sold the Android one before the replacement arrived.
When the new unit showed up, I plugged it in, but unfortunately there’s no audio. Instead, I get a pop-up message saying: “Component Protection Active.”
I’m new to VW - is there any way to remove this without spending too much ??
Thanks
