SCAM - Beware - Foot pedal covers

My partner recently got scammed by Leigh Davies Machining who goes under the name of Tuck4077 on ebay.

He claims to have various foot pedal covers available for T4, T5, T6 etc and asks you to deal with him through Whatsapp.

He then sends you his bank transfer details and fails to send the items with excuse after excuse.

Please don't fall for this thiefs tactics.

Because the transaction was made in good faith by BACS there is probably not a lot we can do other than warn other people to beware.

If anyone can PM me his address that would be appreciated.

If the purchase was initially through ebay you can usually request sellers details which will provide you with whatever details are stored on his account.

Ebay Sellers no longer pay fees so dealing outside of Ebay is of no advantage to them. The only reasons would be to avoid disclosure to HMRC or to rip somebody off.

This bloke pestered the f*** out of me on instagram. Told him many times that I have the facilities to machine and make my own. Kept saying the same thing. Kinda figured that it was a scam.
