I've just bought a 2017 Kombi with leaking sliding windows and wondered if the leak may have done damage behind the panels and under the rubber floor. All looks great externally. Interestingly there is no damage on the panels and yet I can't imagine the leak suddenly happened on both windows which makes me think the panels may have been newly fitted. I'm wondering how I might find out whether there is any floor damage as I can still take it back but obviously it has to be as sold and not with the floor lifted or panels damaged. I heard in another post that people have found soggy floor under the rubber floor filled with stale water and rust forming. I would be very grateful for any experience, warnings or advice!
