RNS-510 not that great :(

So I've had my 2010 caravelle for a few months........

1. The FM reception is rubbish!
2. The GPS signal is now miles out, although I suspect this could be a result of a massive RV hitting my drivers side mirror in Devon recently (may pull the fuse first to try a reset)
3. If I get a USB-C MDI cable, will this work as an interface? the iPhone one supplied with the van is the old skool giant connector

The RNS510 is really old and clunky now. The MDI cable only transfers data files, so doesn't 'mirror' your phone, if that's what you were hoping for. There are so many much better aftermarket units that will do all you could want and more, for not too much money.
