I’m looking to see how much this setup would be worth, I appreciate it’s going to be quite a small market for this kind of thing.

Included would be:
  • The RIB Bed (full-width) upholstered in black grain leather, with suede on the bed side (very good condition), on the UberBus Flux Rail system
  • 4x Genuine Cali Rails, Covers, End Caps and any hardware to install to a van
    • The covers do have some slight marking
  • Front board (I have the back, I just haven’t bothered fitting it)
  • The ply floor, which has a rubberised texture. (the van is a twin-slider)
  • Maybe, the two Caravelle side-steps (I don’t think a standard 12mm floor would be compatible with these steps)
Reason for looking to sell: I’m looking to change the van to a U-Shape layout and seeing if I can fund this change from my old setup. Everything is in great condition and was installed by SlidePods.

I’ll obviously remove with care to prevent any damage. (likely I’ll need to take it somewhere to be removed to get it up on a ramp to access the rail bolts)

Any help would be much appreciated! I won’t be selling this until after Busfest.

*note to moderators, I haven't included a price, I'm happy to repost in the general section if needs be.

That's a great set up and definitely NOT cheap - can't imagine they come up for sale 2nd hand very often either!

For context, I bought a used set of Caravelle rails and full width seat/bed for £2k from Kernow Transporters a few years ago as I wanted the same kind of set up but couldn't afford the Flux. It's brilliantly versatile!

I see sets of rails for around £600+, and a Caravelle full width seat upwards of £2k - obviously the Flux is superior in that it doesn't need the bed extension etc. so I would expect to get £2.5-3k for yours. Add on a couple of hundred for the floor and side steps (the Caravelle side steps are a fair bit taller than standard to accommodate the extra height of the rails (about 32mm)

Looking to sell this in the new year. Any interest? Looking for £2.5k given the condition and the much appreciated feedback by 64 Split. I’ve spoken with a converter near me who can remove this for me with around a 2-3 week lead time.

@Jh101 Not sure if you’re aware but the Uberbus Flex rails are bonded to the floor, obviously nothing is impossible but getting them out will be a hell of a job without damaging them.
To be valid for insurance purposes they need to be installed according to a set procedure by an Uberbus approved contractor or themselves.

The rails on the OP are OEM VW rails as fitted in Caravelle/California.

As skyliner33 mentioned this is fitted to OEM rails, the Uberbus flux kit is designed to be used with OEM rails and factory mounting (provided) and as far is I’m aware there’s no bonding to the chassis. Perhaps you’re thinking of the GlideMotion RIB bed?

OK, I looked at the system years ago and it was something similar to Unwin rails, just an unbolt job then.

This is now also on eBay, trying to sell and give me enough time to rebuild the interior before the weather gets good is proving to be difficult!

That's a bargain ! Must be some folk starting their conversion journey who would snap this up

Price drop, £1850. This is an absolute bargain for someone wanting a sliding full width bed! Everything is out now and ready to go, everything came out ok and the even the top ply survived (only sacrifice was the packers)
