Reversing sensors

Hi
Connected my T6 up to my caravan for the first time (In storage) to check electrics on tow bar.
204 DSG LWB. ONly 2 weeks old.
Everything seems okay at the moment. It even shows a picture of the van & trailer on the screen.!!
However the bleepers still sound when moving forward, will they stop above a certain speed ?
Not had chance to actually take it out of the compound yet. Only pulled forward about 2 feet.
Anybody else could let me know.

They stop when you pull away properly (? circa 5kph) or the annoyingly long delay elapses

And the display/sensors won't activate (not even the front ones if equipped) if you just pull the stick straight from P to D. Need to dwell on reverse for a moment to activate the system.
