Reverse lights not working and park pilot not automatically engaging

On my 2016 T6 ,both reverse lights aren't working and park pilot doesn't come on so I'm wondering what it could be? Should park pilot come on automatically?

Did you ever resolve your reverse lights and parking pilot issue? I have the same problem.
Have tested the gearbox reverse switch which is OK, the feed wire to the switch is giving 12v
