Retrofit PDC on/off switch

I have a Startline which has rear PDC but I am unable to turn off the PDC as theres no switch on the dash.

Can this switch be retrofitted?

Hi. Did you have any joy with this? I'm looking to do the same.

One option I am looking into is to use an OEM switch, and use that to turn the PDC circuit off (at the fuse box with a relay), but I'm having issues finding the pin information of the OEM switch and whether it offers latching switch pins.

Also if pulling the fuse on the PDC circuit is likely to cause any error codes.

Can someone with more experience that I have with VCDS translate to VCDS the following instructions for retrofit PDC coding. The kit was bought from carsystem.eu and I purchased a fresh VCDS just for the purposes of configuring the module into the system.

VCDS version 25.3.3

The instructions are: (copied from a German translated document)

Coding
- STG 19 diagnostic interface > Installation list > Mark parking aid 2 as installed
** I haven't done this. There is a parking aid 10 listed **
- STG 10 Parking Aid 2 > Coding > Coding according to vehicle specifications...

Sounds like quite a bit of work, but you might glean enough infromation for what you are trying to achieve.
