Removing sliding door panel trim argggghhh

Hello, my transporter has sliding doors, one of which now will not open. The door trim has a panel about 1/3 of the space below the window, which looks like it would give access to door handle assembly.
However I cannot get the flippin thing off, attempts with trim tools so far have already left marks.



Is it possible to remove this panel? If so any tips?
I have trim /pry tools. Getting the main panel seems to be also quite tricky.

Here is a link to a video on how to remove sliding door card the T5 caravelle/shuttle but I’m sure it’ll be the same as yours.
43 seconds from the end it shows the back face of the card. Unfortunately, it would appear to me that the panel you are on about is bonded to the main card so you’ll have to remove the whole thing, but I appreciate your door won’t open at this juncture. I also attach a screen shot.
Sorry (to perhaps) be the bearer of bad news. But hope I’m wrong or you mange to get the door open.

Very helpful, thank you! I think I've already damaged the trim near one of the clips but I'll tread carefully and see how we go.
