Recommend a VW independent specialist near Archway please

Hi all

My T6 van needs its first service - I’m in north London - can anyone recommend a good independent VW specialist please?

I’m assuming that doesn’t invalidate the warranty?

That's a minefield....

And could give VW reason to reject future warranty work. (All work has to be done "by the book" at a vat Garage)

Stick with the main dealer until you're main 3yr warranty is up.

During my warranty for most of my service work I used an independent who is ex VW Mastertech who only uses VW parts etc. He provides a VAT invoice and can update the online VW service record. It went to VW for some warranty work on the battery with no issues.

Now on an All In Plan so it will go to main dealer for the included services and anything extra he will do.

I did get VW to do my DSG service as weirdly they came in a little cheaper than him on that.

His labour rate is £45 an hour versus VW at £130 or something like that.
