Reattaching a Vamoose rail end

The rain gutter end of my Vamoose rail has come off. Can anyone recommend what I need to stick it back on with please? Currently it looks like a strip was added underneath but I've no idea what that is. Ta

Thanks is very helpful and I learnt a new word, "finial"
It looks like the front finial is stuck down with some 3M double-sided tape, which I have in the garage. Weekend job ahead. Thank you!

In the vamoose instructions it says to seal around the front bendy bit with pu adhesive (tiger seal) after sticking in place with the adhesive strip. I missed that in the instructions and left it just with the sticky tape. Sure enough, first hot day it pinged off! I contcted the nice guys at Vamoose and they very kindly sent me a replacement which I stuck on then sealed with pu - been there ever since!

3M VHB tape. Clean both surfaces thoroughly and wipe same with Isopropanol before applying the tape.
