That's your tweeter crossover which drops the low frequencies so you dont blow the tweeter.
You can also wire it to drop 3dB. Sometimes the tweeter can sound harsh so wiring to the 3dB drop reduces this.
Wire speaker wire to red/clear for normal operation or red/black for -3dB.
Oh ok that makes sense do you just run the cable from the amp to your midrange speaker then piggyback off of that to the crossover then to the tweeter?
