Thanks, I’m also struggling to find 55m bolts for 20mm although THQ say 50mm should be ok, getting mixed info on internet so it’s pushing me to 15mm for peace of mindI use 15.
Thanks….That looks perfect, I would like the 20mm as I think they would sit perfectly but it’s the bolt length that bothers me.I use 20mm as I already had them from my old 8.5j's but 15mm would be fine.View attachment 325231
Thanks, yeh I’ve done that and ideally its 20mm but I think 15mm will still be okay.Stand a (straight) piece of wood vertically next to your van touching the wheel arch, measure to the stickiest out bit of your tyre. Should give you an idea of how much you want/need to space out.
Hahaha I’ll remember not to do that! Mine has 275 35 20 it’s a t28. It’s annoying that I can’t find 55mm bolts otherwise would def get 20mm. I’ve just emailed an eBay seller re longer bolts. I don’t know if I’m over thinking the bolt length thing!?20mm with 275 40 20 tyres works on mine but it's a T30. I don't think it makes a difference. Maybe on a T32 ot would.
The only issue I've had with that set up is when i moved the van a foot with the slider open fully

Yep, it’s no good doing something then it just niggles at youYou can never overthink that part of your van. You're doing the right thing imo.
Yeh you would think, I’m getting the spacers from THQ but they only go up to 50mm bolts, I needI bought my spacers of @SymeT6 and he had longer bolts - not sure if he bought them as a package from the retailer originally?
They were purchased from Watfields Limited - Precision Engineering Specialists in Sheffield and YorkshireI bought my spacers of @SymeT6 and he had longer bolts - not sure if he bought them as a package from the retailer originally?
Appreciate it, thanks![]()
