Rear OS ABS sensor fault

Good evening all.

I have a 2017 T6 which is showing a rear right ABS fault. I scanned it with Carista and replaced it with a genuine sensor. This fixed the issue for around 2 days and then the fault came back.

I measured the sensor voltage and it was around 10.4 at the sensor connector. And the abs light came on when the engine started but the wheels haven’t moved. It is going on and off intermittently. Carista live data also shows the sensor to be reading fine even when the abs light is on which seems strange.

I tried to inspect wiring harness but without stripping all the loom tape off it was difficult to tell. I think I’m going to take a punt and just replace the loom for ease.

Has anyone that has replaced the loom give any tips or advice on how and where to connect. I had a feel around and couldn’t feel any connectors that I have seen mentioned. Does anyone have any information on where to cut the wires once you have access to the loom?

Also, what is the best way to connect the wires?

And I noticed on some pics of the loom (I haven’t picked one up from TPS yet) that the wires may be a different colour. Does anyone have any information on of this is the case and if so, what colours match what?

Thanks in advance.
