Rear EGR pipe help

I have a 2016 dsg shuttle with a cracked rear egr pipe.
Am in the process of trying to remove but really struggling with the lower rear screw.
Access is extremely limited with the cooler in the way.
Can anyone help with what tools they have used to access this bolt or any tips?
I've no skin left on my knuckles!
I've managed to get a 1/4" flexidrive to an M10 spline drive but it's not man enough to break out the screw.
I welded a M10 spline drive to the end of a 100mm long bolt with a 13mm head so I could use a 1/2" drive but the spline drive sheared adjacent to the weld!
Help please

Not having had to deal with this I can't suggest a magical tool. However, if you were able to create anothet extra long M10 spline piece, you could try tapping on the end while applying torque. If you can shock it while trying to turn it, it may help to loosen it. Unfortunately, the weakest link is probably the M10 bit but, it should come out at some point!!

Just to put this post to bed, after lots of frustrating hours and mangled knuckles the job is complete. Evidently it is well known that this is a pig of a job with a dsg box because of the oil cooler and other bits restricting access. There is only one of the four screws in direct line of sight, the rest you are working blind! The lower rear screw I accessed again as above with a spline bit welded to the end of a bar with a 13mm hex on the other end.
Re installation was no easier as there's just no room!
Top tips - tape screws to the sockets, tape all socket extensions together and tie a piece of string to everything you lower in there - hopefully never again!

Hi. Just posting if same one need tips in future to replace EGR rear pipe.
I have a 2018 dsg.
To take the pipe out took for me 35 min. I started from left hand bottom screw (by the oil cooler) it takes more effort spent on it rest three easy.
Putted back took for me around 2h most tricky again same screw put back and tighten it no room.
I used 3/8 extension and flex bit, and Observer 3/8 in Square Ratchet.

I had two and half-hour meditation not seeing anything :D

I wedged a plastic bag below the pipe before removing the bolts, didn't want to have to drop the under tray off if I dropped anything. Also wedged a mirror at the back of the engine bay to help see where things were - takes a bit of getting used to things being back to front but still helped.
