Rear door storage idea ...

Have anyone considered using the 4x4 wheel storage as rear door storage on a transporter..

The Suzuki I've seen on eBay is a full housing, probably any work on barn doors..

Having never had a Transporter with barn doors, I can't say with any certainty, but my defender 90 had its spare attached directly to the rear door, and that made a real mess of the hinges etc over a short period of time, and sagged the door from the start, which would be a disaster on transporter doors. Would look OK though, and def more convenient than the underslung spare debacle.
