Rear Diff Lock keeps switching on

My rear diff lock has started switching on without the button being pressed. Sometimes I cant even get it to disengage. I have done a battery reset but that made no difference. It can happen after cold or hot start.
Any advice please on what the cause it and how to rectify it

Vacuum pipes at the Haldex clutch? Also I think in the Forum was a mention about failed vacuum solenoid (just can't find it right now).

One of the vacum hose connections has snapped the nipple off the actuator? at the rear diff, which has caused the diff to lock, removed and replaced with a new one and now found a faulty vacum valve at the front which sends the signal after pushing the dash button diff lock. £457 later I've done 960 miles this weekend so a good test and so far so good.

Side note, we are wondering if the fantabulous senior technician at VW has been a bit lazy with securing and tidying the air pipes and wiring after last years Haldex disaster.
It looks like there has been flex on the air pipe stressing the...

I guess you have part number for the solenoid?

All sorted. Traced the fault to a overheated plug connector on a vacuum solenoid in front of the adblue tank. It looks as though the wiring has rubbed through and shorted itself when it got wet out just before the plug, this has melted the plug causing a more permanent short and thats why it didnt go away when it dried out. At the moment the wire is disconnected and insulated and all the faults have cleared.
Need to get a new solenoid and plug kit to do a permanent fix
