Rear Aircon - please put me out of my misery

Hi All,

Bear with me, I know there are a couple of similar posts. So I bought my new to me 2018 Shuttle believing it had rear aircon. But it doesn't blow cold.

So having read the previous posts, and looking at my instrument clusters, it suggests this vehicle doesn't have the rear aircon facility.

I pulled off the rear RHS panel for the blower motor and it has HVAC on it so got mildly excited. The sticker in the engine bay gave two refrigerant values, so I got even more excited.

However, there are only two AC pipes going into the valve in the engine bay (would there be four if it it had rear aircon - not sure of the routing of the pipework), there only seems to be one set of pipes running down the right hand underside of the van (I presume for coolant for hot air), and at the moment I cant strip out the large internal panel covering the rear RHS wheel arch as there are dog kennels built into the back.

Also, when I pulled off the internal panel, the electrical connector to the actuator arm on the blower was not plugged in. So obviously I popped it back in and when I switched on the ignition I got a juddering as there is in issue with the servo motor or its inner workings. I tried to upload a video but the platform wont accept it.

Can anyone give any pointers please, definitely yes or no, if it had aircon should there be four pipes visible in the front of the engine bay, also, is there a separate evaporator for the rear, if so where is it situated please ???? Is it normal for the rear blower to HVAC on it if it is just hot and cold air, is it just generic. I'm away at the moment so not really in a position to put the van up on ramps and drop the underside panels down.

Does anyone know what is going on with that arm, is there a fix to get it going if I strip it down?

If there is no joy I'll have to have the kennels out just to prove it one way or the other.

Many thanks for any help you could give.
