Random Foam Piece - Inner Door

So I am doing the sound deadening before fitting my Gladen’s. Eased off the inner metal piece and have found this random foam piece sitting at the bottom of the door ski. Any ideas?

Google says it a front door wiring sealer.
Anything with a part number can be identified easily with a Google search.
Have a look where the wiring enters the door, if in doubt compare on the opposite door.

I had a rattle coming from that area which I couldn’t explain. I felt tape wrapped the cables going out from the door at that location and have now refitted that foam part as you suggested. No more rattle!!!

Gladen's are epic too.
