I'm New to T6 Forum New to Campers & New to VW.
When I bought a T6 Transporter Sportsline SWB Combi Last year the last thing I had in my mind was using it as a camper Van,
However, due to travel restrictions abroad this year I thought I could start using it for weekends away in the UK Instead.
With the money I received back from Emirates for not being able to take us to Australia last year we used it towards having some work done on the van.
I took it into a van centre that specialises in conversions and paid for the the van to be Sound Deadened (Dynomat) and Insulated.
Also Electrics, Swivel Seats.
One of the things I noticed after I picked it up was the Front doors wern't done.
When I asked why they hadn't been done I was told "Oh the inside of the doors are all riveted so we dont do them"
Since I wasnt't told this at anytime before the works started.
I was expecting all areas to be done including TaIl Gate, Rear Panels, Rear Sliding doors, Front Doors, Head Lining (Tail gate to Windscreen)
Would you expect all the areas I have mentioned above to be done if you had taking it in to be done?
