Primary User - Always Fails To Setup

Hi all,

This is my first post up on the forum, so it's nice to meet you all.
I have done a search for this and haven't been able to find the exact issue, so apologies if it has been asked before.

I bought a T6.1 Highline a few months back that has the upgraded VW stereo. The previous owner was still the 'primary owner' on the system, so I delete their account ready to try to take ownership. This is where I've not been able to progress.

When I try to take ownership, I can get to the stage where I log into the profile I created on the VW app. The message just says 'Unable to load user profile'. I've never got further than this. I can definitely log into the profile on the VW app.

Has anyone seen this before please?







There aren't any users in the system at all.

You need to make a ALL Factory Reset in the menu. I have the same issue but this solve it.

Amazing, thank you very much for your help. I was beginning to think there was no answer.
I'm sure I have done a factory reset - but I'll certainly give this a go. I'll have to research a Full Factory Reset to see what else it changes.
