Pop Top Fly Screen Starting to Tear

One of my fly screen windows/vents is starting to tear at a few bits and the convertor doesn't want to know as they say it's not a warranty issue and may mean a whole new pop top which I doubt is the case.
I've bought some new fly mesh and was going to fix to the inside of the old mesh using heat seal tape along the edges/existing seams.
Question is had anybody had any issues like this and what solutions were there.

I was very lucky with mine, the flyscreen 'D's' on both sides of my poptop canvas were splitting (possibly over aggressive use of insect removal tools by members of my family), I used clear gorilla tape inside and out to stop the splits getting worse. Looked a bit pants...
I had never known who had made our poptop until I was on ladders under the lid fitting pretty COB lights and found the makers sticker.
DriveLodge motor homes up in Skiptonsville.
I phoned them and asked what could be done. They said basically nothing easily, but what is the code on the sticker?
I gave them the code and they said 'would you like us to replace the whole canvas under warranty'?! A 5 year warranty and the canvas was over 4 years old.
A trip up north with an overnight stay in the dales countryside.
Got to DriveLodge in Skiptonshire at 8am and the owner, James, gave me a lift into Skipton Town for a 6 hour wait while they did the new canvas, he even picked me up later.
Couldn't believe it, incredible customer service.

Yeah, I've used mesh tape over the holes but looks unsightly.
