Pop Top Fitting and Price Guide

I’m looking for suggestions on average pricing of a pop top fitting with bi-fold bed for a T6 SWB Kombi Transporter.

I’ve been quoted some wildly different prices for what almost looks like the same products. I’ve had various quotes from £2.5k-£6.5k and I’m just not sure what that extra pricing is getting me I know labour/quality of fit may factor into this but seems like huge differences just for labour.

Is there any decent fitters in the South West with reasonable pricing that have a good track record? I’m not after a super low profile roof the main thing is the bi-fold bed and headliner carpeting to match, somewhere in the range for £3-4k is that a reasonable price?

Any suggestions would be great!

Just something to bear in mind, any roof is only as good as the fitter. A high end roof fitted by a cowboy will be poor. Conversely, a cheap poor quality roof fitted by an expert, will still be a cr4p roof. You need quality at both ends. Good roof, good fitter. I'd be budgeting £5k and you'll probably get some change depending on what goodies you add on.

I am in the same boat at the moment, was looking at Skyline ones but may avoid them due to the issues raised on here and the installer i just spoke to would never touch them again for the same reasons. So now looking at Stealth, or SCA perhaps.

That's on the aurora version i think. The standard skyline roof is held shut using straps like most of the others.
