Ply linings

Going to carpet the van, so will be getting pre cut and drilled panels,but wondering when they are glued and covered,will the hidden fixings go in,or do I fit them first and then carpet over.

If using hidden fixings you carpet first and then use clips. Or you can use longer clips.

All that worries me,is when ply is carpeted will hidden clips go in when glued,or do they need to be put in ASAP before glue has gone off,can't see them going after that,!

Fit/screw the hidden clips into the ply panels first, then glue the carpet over the top. There are huge numbers of Youtube videos on how to do this. Hope this helps and I have understood your question.

As @wuckfitracing says clips in first the carpet over the top.
Just finished a T6 conversion and I’d highly recommend googling “The Julia Tool” for getting the clips into the panels. Will save your hands, trust me

They will go in afterwards. I had to replace a few and it wasn't a problem.

You do not need to fit the hidden clips first, it wil be a pain to carpet with all the clips in place. Also do not fit clips and then apply glue as this will stick teh clips to the carpet. They need to be able to move/rotate.
