I am thinking of doing this. As long as it is a T6.1 loom does it matter about matching the loom to the make of towbar? Or will any brand loom work with any brand tow bar?
Also which is the best/ easiest to fit loom? Thanks

Yes it is nerve wracking as there is not much free play, it’s not easy to get under there, and the end result does not look very elegant. But it works, so my advice is to not rush it. Take your time and it should all work OK.

Iv done it today
Awkward and hard to see
Just need to code it before I will know if Iv wired it correctly

I never coded mine as the wiring is purely for a light board on rear mounted carriers - I’ll not be towing anything. I can turn off the parking sensor beep if it annoys me enough, and the camera can still be useful when reversing (even when partially obscured by bike frames), and I believe coding will turn the camera off.

Im pretty sure taht the camera still worked on my last van with a trailer connected up.
