Wanted Personalised Steel Fire-Pit

Sweet..

@evans1089

This thread got removed and locked for some reason?

Anyway, I've unlocked it,

The shop is open and ready for business.

I'm thinking I like the THQ fold up BBQ.

Can you make us a T6FORUM clone?

.
Let's get this looked at....

With the locking pins, and R clips etc.

And the bag? @evans1089

What material you thinking, mild steel or stainless?
I’ll draw one up, and check it all slots together

Mild id assume?.

What's there one made from?

Radiuses on edges, like your upgraded fire pits.

T6 logo, and T6FORUM on the grill top.

Here is Version 1 that I have models of. Since that I've made some changes, adding more rads to the edges.

It's similar size, if not bigger than the example & same principle really.
I've not looked for a bag for it yet. So that can be homework for one of you.

Any changes/feedback welcome before I commit to cutting one?

Love it..

From a grill point of view, it might be worth adding some small holes along the bottom plate to allow air in to keep the fire going.

Maybe some holes on the side plates.

***

Coals wil burn ok with a flat bottom, but wood will start getting a bit Smoky if it hasn't got enough airflow to keep the flames burning from underneath.

I have no idea about the bag, though I did say another barbecue very similar to this on eBay where the curry case was made from wood!!!

And don't forget the pins and r clips to keep it all stacked together neatly.
