Paint colours

Hey legends, I’m new to this forum. I just purchased a 2nd hand T6.1 in Australia. It’s the standard white with a few dents and minor scratches. I was going to repaint the whole van as I’d love to put an up spec front and back bumper and make the van look rad. Has anyone completely changed the colour of their van without removing everything? I was hoping to respray everything other than the engine bay, going from white to maybe Ascot Grey? Id then carpet the interior to cover that up too.
Thoughts on this?

What about a wrap instead? Be cheaper than a repaint.

I did contemplate that. Maybe I’ll get a quote. I always find that wrapped cars look a little funny. I did find a place where I can hire a spray booth for the day for $400. I reckon painting it myself in a booth woukd be about 2k

I would think that unless you're a trained sprayer, a wrap will give you a much better finish.
