Outdoor revolution Cayman air (single inflation). Anyone got one?

As per title. Considering one of these for a short trip awning. The single inflation seems like it would make it easier and faster to put up than the 2 beam one we have. Does it? Also wondering if pack down is as easy as that’s a bit of a pain with our larger one.

We’ve got a Cayman air - I think the single inflation makes it much easier to put up, now we’ve done it a few times we can get it set up quite quickly. Same with packing it down - we basically do the same as the Attwood outdoor Youtube videos. It can be a bit of a faff getting all the air out but again practice makes perfect.

My only criticism really is that sometimes if it’s a bit breezy the groundsheet part ends up outside of the awning, (see photo) but that might just be us not setting it up properly as the last time we did it it was fine - I’m just not sure what we did differently!

Thanks. In this one I guess you’re partly on hard standing so maybe fewer pegs and ropes to hold things down could be why groundsheet wasn’t as secure?
I think from the Atwool video the inflation point is on the front right as you look at it, so do you pack from the back to push the air out? Our current one has the same issue, but I find with the 2 beams getting them to fall somewhere that allows the air out is a right pain. In the pack down video they seem to naturally fall into the centre with the single beam design, but I guess from what you’re saying still some messing about to ensure air is squeezed out?
I’ll probably see what prices they have at the camping show in Feb.

Cheers.

We were on hardstanding, I think we didn’t stretch the groundsheet out enough initially which caused a bit of slack.

Yep we pack it from the back towards the valve but some air can get trapped when folding it up. It’s just a matter of making sure nothings trapped before carrying on folding and rolling!

We had an Olpro cubo breeze previously which had 2 separate air beams but find the Cayman much easier to erect and put away.
