ibe had van lowered on H&R 40mm springs but the ride is aweful

What are the options , I want to keep the same look but would like that it rides/drives like factory,

Cheers

I dropped mine with 40mm Cobra springs on standard shocks and the ride was hugely improved.

Dogs Dung what size wheels do you have on it ?
.50 what size wheels on yours ?

Curious as I'm dropping mine 40mm soon.

I ditched the 16" factory alloys running 50+psi.
I now have 19",s with 245/45r19 tyres at 40psi all round.
I live up a bumpy stone track and the factory wheels/tyres and suspension made ride miserable.
My new set up is like night and day.
I was advised by a local company that specialises in Transporters, that, if running the van mostly empty, that the Cobra springs were least harsh compared to H&R and Eibach.

hmmm i'm plannning on dropping mine 40mm but keep to the standard 16's maybe the Devonports, in your opinion would that make the ride worse than standard ?

In my opinion, no !.
My Cobra springs are DEFINATELY a lot softer than the factory T30 ones.
The standard tyre pressures on factory supplied vehicles are really high as part of the Bluemotion tech. Again, in my opinion, these pressures can be lowered to help with ride comfort, but it may be at the cost of fuel economy and tyre wear.
