OEM LED rear light on barndoors?

Is it possible to fit the OEM led rear lights to a T6 with barn doors, not a tailgate?

I'm aware they're a different shape, but this was also the case with the T5 and yet people still managed to fit them by filing down the corner of the light.

I have LED headlights and really want LED rear lights, the aftermarket ones just don't cut it. I don't understand why VW only do them for the tailgate version

Silly dugestion (I am new to these vans) but can you not use T5 rear LED lights? Or are you soecificaly after “E” lights from T6?
