OBDeleven coding

Hi all

1st post on this forum as I picked up my 2017 Caravelle last weekend. Owned an ex-AA T4 for 12 years so just getting used to being back in the van club!

I purchased an OBDeleven Pro (VAG) device to read/clear fault codes and to do some simple mods. I'm thinking:

Needle sweep
Auto-lock at 10 mph, unlock when key removed
Cornering lights with turn signal
Wiper service mode
Emergency braking lights
Tear-drop wiping

I know the last five can be done with credits/apps, but I was wondering if they can also be coded manually, given I've bought the pro subscription (without also having to buy credits)? If so does anyone have any how-to guides for a beginner please?

Thanks

Mike Y

Ok so I did a bit more reading and then was feeling brave so just had a go... I've detailed what I did below in case anyone else had the same questions...

Big Dash MPH (also enables alt speed dis. on MFD option)
Control Units > Dashboard (17) > Long Coding > Country Version > changed "Great Britain" to Rest of World (now wondering - should this actually be "Australia"?)

Auto-lock (above 10 mph)
Control Units > Central Electrics (09) > Long Coding > Auto-Lock (Automatic Locking above 15 km/h > changed "Not active" to "active"

Auto unlock (when removing key)
Control Units > Central Electrics (09) > Long Coding > Auto unlock > changed "Not active" to "active"

Cornering lights with turn signal (as already on for me)
Control Units > Central Electrics (09) > Long Coding > Cornering/turn lights via turn signal > was already "active"

Wiper service mode
Control Units > Central Electrics (09) > Long Coding > Service position for front wiper > changed "Not active" to "Active" (this might have already been on already)

Emergency brake flashing (brake light)
Control Units > Central Electrics (09) > Long Coding > Emergency brake flashing (brake light) > changed "Not active" to "Active"

Tear Drop Wiping
Control Units > Central Electrics (09) > Long Coding > Tear Drop Wiping > changed "Not active" to "Active"

Tried needle sweep:
Control Units > Dashboard (17) > Adaptation > "Indicator Celebration" > Active (was Not Active) - but get an error message - is that to do with Country version being set to Rest of World rather than Australia?

Also, is there a way to get the fan speed to display when on Auto mode? I can't seem to find this option but have seen it mentioned on other VAG forums .

Thanks

Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting your results.
I’m lucky to be an OBDeleven early adopter and earned credits daily by watching short promo videos.
I then used some of the credits to activate some of your above ones.

I couldn’t get the large MPH to activate though and will try your solution when I can.

I’m sure others will be along shortly with more help than I can currently offer.

I need a bit of help with OBD11 coding. Firstly new to all this and learning quickly that I can’t just tick this and untick that as it complicates things.

So I have a Transporter Kombi with 2 rear sliding doors. I got intrigued as to what the car variant display version 1 and 2 were on the van so I changed and coded to 2. It now displays different to what my van looks like. I tried to revert it back but now I get function not available in the app 😥

Anyone able to help me code it back so I see the correct display on dash when doors are open etc. I foolishly never backed up the coding prior to changing so won’t be making that mistake again.

My dash long coding is 47 1A 03 01 00.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The coding changes are stored in History tab, found under each Control unit (it's the last one, just scroll down). The tab can be viewed even without connecting to vehicle.
