I don’t often write reviews for products or companies, usually because my high standards and low level OCD lead me to being a little underwhelmed a lot of the time!

@Nutexa Frictions deserve a mention though, for their products and as a business.

I’ve recently decided to start offering their products to my customers, but not before I had looked at what was available elsewhere.

I’m not always the easiest customer to deal with, because I set very high standards so that I can be sure my customers aren’t let down, but Janet and Russ are always helpful and understanding!

Having recently fitted a 375mm 8 pot big brake upgrade to the front of a customer’s T6.1 I was really impressed.

I looked long and hard at a huge number of options for big brake kits before deciding on offering these to my customers. There are several reasons for this:

Direct fitment:
No re drilling of discs, no adapters needed, just bolt on, bleed and go.

Outstanding quality:
The materials and manufacturing used has resulted in a high quality kit that will definitely stand the test of time.

High Performance:
It only needed a short test drive to realise that they offer huge stopping power, but with great feel and modulation too. Nutexa are also well known for their low dust pads, so they should help keep wheels cleaner for longer.

Competitive pricing:
This kit is well priced when compared to what else is available and I don’t think you’ll find better for the money.

Full Custom Colour Options:
This set have been finished in Ascot grey and are a great match for the van. Hundreds of colour options are available, so there’s definitely something for you.

I also love the fact that Nutexa are a small, independent, family run business, with the right values, just like mine.

If you like these brakes and fancy a set for your own van, or any of the other high quality options available, just send me a message.

Hi, I’m thinking of getting Nutexa brakes as an upgrade to my brakes on my California. I have the big VW brakes on my Cali, but lack a bit of stopping power when fully loaded. I have 18” wheels and don’t want bigger wheels, any idea what size Nutexa brakes kit I can go for with the 18” wheels and would it be worth swapping out my own for the Nutexa ones? Cheers 👍

@Nutexa Frictions can you advise please.

And some proper tuition.

A good driver can drive round pretty much any shortcoming to some degree, while a crap driver isn't able to exploit even the finest performance aids. That's how I managed to take my Brothers 107 up Prescott quicker than almost all of the 205 GTi's present that day.

And the best bit is it comes from vehicle to vehicle with me.

That said, if I were shopping to uprate the anchors id bengiving these guys a look. Their prices are keen and customer feedback is most excellent. When I need new pads I'll be knocking on their door.

Awesome, should have loads of clearance on an 18 then!

Any changes to the master cylinder or is it just fit and bleed?

Mat
I’ve run all of our kits on my van, currently on the 375mm disc and 8 pot calipers and never had a problem. Nothing changed just bleed and go.

Done 2 trips down to Swiss borders with them on now and 2 trips up and down the French alps also 👍
