Just spent the day doing charity work and then edging out of a side road this happens

My fault despite the fact i was travelling at under 1 mph and she was ragging it down the road.

Not fun experience explaining that one to the boss.

Her car looks a bit grim.

There is some irony in there somewhere, a van with an enormous insurance decal down the side, involved in a bump. Whoops.
Hope everyone was ok. Feel for you @PukkaT6

Its made worst by the fact myself and 5 of my staff were renovating a house for a lovely old women. No good deed goes unpunished as they say.

30 mph = 44feet per second

How much vision did you have, Chances are she may well have been out of sight travelling at speed when you started to emerge.

However the other side of that is... if your vision was limited should you have been sharper getting out?

Sorry can’t offer any other advice, save think about using an accident investigation specialist. I’ve been out of that game a bit too long now.

Edit - Agreed, gutted for you from over here as well

Its my fault, looked clear, edged out hoping anyone coming would easily be able to slow down.

There is but i managed to sort the fog light bit so wondering if I can get away with buy a new grey insert and repair the existing bumper

No doubt however where the bumper meets the wing has come away so not sure if clips are broken.

From memory there's a couple of screws up behind the inner arch liner, and the rest clips together in that area.

That parts ok, there is a plastic strip that screws to the front edge of the wing that carries the bumper and is easily broken, already replaced mine and was less than a tenner
