So we’ve decided to not go Mortehoe this summer and head north…Looking for any recommendations for sites near, around holy island, Bamburgh for me and the lad, would like a site with play area and decent showers.
Any recommendations much appreciated

I stopped at the caravan and camping club site at Beadnell bay, just a 1-1/2 mile walk from Seahouses ad approx 4 miles from Bamburgh.

Spring hill farm 5 mins from seahouses. Stayed there a few times now. Big pitches, very well kept grounds and showers and loo's very modern and kept clean. We're back there back end of August for 5 days. Highly recommend the landing restaurant at Beadnell Bay. Alnwick also a must visit. Northumberland is a beautiful part of the world. Enjoy your time up there.
